Your files never leave your device

Squeezio's image and video compression tools run entirely in your web browser. When you select or drop a file into the compressor, it is processed locally using your browser's own Canvas engine (for images) or a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg (for video). We do not upload, receive, store, or have any access to the files you compress.

Information we do collect

Like most websites, our servers may automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and the pages you view. This is used only in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site, and is not tied to the files you compress since those never reach our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall site usage (for example, which pages are visited most). We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you.

Advertising

Squeezio displays advertising to keep the tools free to use. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. Ad content is served by third-party networks and is subject to those networks' own privacy policies. You can control ad personalization through your browser settings or your ad network account preferences where available.

Children's privacy

Squeezio is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Squeezio after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
